Ram Mandir Ayodhya: At the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, the magnificent Ram Temple is now being built at Ayodhya. The dedication ceremony for the beautiful temple devoted to Lord Rama is slated for January 22nd, and it is almost ready. The temple will house the idol of Lord Rama, who is shown as Ram Lala in his youth. There will be a ceremony to give the idol of Ram Lala life before then. The venerated idol of Lord Rama will be kept in the temple’s main sanctuary. The great day, when Lord Rama’s celestial presence shall adorn the revered temple in Ayodhya, is drawing near.
This temple is located in the area which is considered to be the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram of Hindu religion. At this location, there was once the Babri Masjid, which was demolished and rebuilt in place of an earlier non-Islamic building. The land in question was the subject of a 2019 Supreme Court of India ruling, which declared that Hindus have the right to build a Ram temple at the site. Muslims will get a piece of land to build a mosque. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) study, which proposed the existence of a non-Islamic building beneath the destroyed Babri Masjid, was used as evidence by the court.
August 5, 2020 saw the laying of the foundation stone for the Ram Temple. Currently, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is in charge of supervising the temple’s construction.
Allow me to inform you that the idol of Lord Rama has been designated for a very auspicious moment. Let’s learn more about this unique occasion.
Ram Mandir Ayodhya: Muhurat Time
Certain times are designated in the sacred Hindu calendar for consecrating the divine essence into any idol. Similar to this, the Prana Pratishtha is slated for the auspicious day of January 22, 2024, which is the twelfth day of the Poush month, in order to breathe life into the statue of Lord Ram. The selected time is under the Abhijit Muhurat, which also includes the Indra Yoga, Mrigashira Nakshatra, ascendant of Aries, and navamsha of Scorpio. This holy moment lasts for exactly 84 seconds, from 12:20:08 to 12:21:32.
The idol of Lord Rama is going to be consecrated during this holy time. Following the placement of the Ram Lalla idol, the mantra ‘Pratitishthat Parmeshwar‘ will be uttered. It means “Oh Supreme Lord, you are present” when translated. This ceremony indicates the idol’s divine manifestation of Lord Rama.
Ram Mandir Ayodhya: Dignity Of Life
The temple’s first floor, which includes the maternity ward, is ready as of January 2024. On January 22, the idol of Lord Rama will be dedicated, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the event. Numerous initiatives have already started since January 14th, also known as Makar Sankranti. One hundred crores has been set aside by the Uttar Pradesh government for the consecration event. In several states, January 22 is a holiday for schools. On January 22, Narendra Modi has advised everyone to light lamps in their homes.
Ram Mandir Ayodhya: Method Of Worship
Take a cool bath first thing on January 22nd after waking up early. Next, place the image of Lord Shri Ram on an elevated pedestal and cover it with a yellow cloth. Orient the image so that your face faces east while you worship. Utilise the Panchamrit to perform the Lord’s consecration. Present them with offerings such as food, cloth, sacred thread, rice grains, lamps, flowers, vermillion, sandalwood, and incense.
Worship Lord Hanuman in addition to Lord Ram. After then, chant the mantras of Lord Ram and recite the Ramcharitmanas, Sundarkand, Hanuman Chalisa, and Shri Ram Raksha Stotra. Finish with a moving Aarti, then spend the evening singing devotionals to Lord Ram. This will drive negativity out of your house, and by God’s help, even difficult jobs might start to get resolved.
The auspicious occasion of Kurm Dwadashi falls on Monday, January 22, 2024, during the brilliant fortnight of the month of Paush. Kurm Dwadashi is a unique fast observed in honour of Lord Vishnu. This day, according to the Vishnu Purana, Lord Vishnu assumed the form of a tortoise, or Kurm, and helped Samudra Manthan stir up the ocean.
Kurm Dwadashi is a very important day in Hindu mythology, and it is said to bring favours. The holiness of the Rama Temple will be established for millennia on this day when the life force in the idol of Lord Rama is consecrated. On January 16, 2024, the dedication rituals and devotion to the idol of Ramlala commenced. The presence of Lord Shiva’s heavenly force marks the day.
After that, the six great yogas – Siddha, Sadhya, Shubha, Shukla, and Brahma Yoga – will manifest one after the other. The day will start at sunrise on January 22 with Brahma Yoga and end at 8:46 AM. Ayindra Yoga will triumph once Brahma Yoga is finished.
On the Tuesday after Brahma Yoga, during Bhau Pradosh, devotees can go to the deities to seek their darshan. On Tuesdays, there is a particular fast called Bhau Pradosh. Ram Mandir Ayodhya: Construction
The construction of the Shri Ram Temple began in March 2020 in the holy site of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. But following the 2020 China-India hostilities, the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in India forced a temporary halt to building. At the building site, artefacts including a Shiva Linga, pillars, and damaged sculptures were found during the levelling and excavation process.
In the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a makeshift altar was constructed on March 25, 2020, to house the idol of Lord Shri Ram.
The World Hindu Council arranged a Victory Mantra chanting event ahead of its construction. People flocked to several areas on April 6, 2020, to chant the victory mantra, “Shri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram.” The purpose of this ritual was to guarantee “victory over obstacles” in the temple’s building.
Larsen & Toubro have kindly offered to supervise the temple’s design and construction at no cost to you. They are the project’s contractors. In areas like soil testing, concrete, and design, the Central Building Research Institute, National Geophysical Research Institute, and Indian Institutes of Technology (including Bombay, Guwahati, and Madras) are providing support. There have been rumours circulating that the Sarayu River’s stream was discovered by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) beneath the temple.
600 thousand cubic feet of sandstone and Bansi mountain stones from Rajasthan were used to finish the structure.
