WPL Auction 2024: The day has come for the player auction for the Women’s Indian Premier League’s second season, or WPL 2024. The players for the tournament will be put up for auction today, December 9, in Mumbai.

The Women’s Premier League, also referred to as the Women’s Indian Premier League second season, will be auctioned off today, December 9. With five teams, this event was quite popular in its first season and is now getting ready for a second.

The Mumbai Indians, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, won the opening game in the inaugural season. Now, 165 female players will participate in the auction for the tournament’s second edition.

WPL Auction 2024: Player auction list

Nevertheless, just thirty spots are up for grabs among the five teams. Among the 165 players, 104 are from India and 61 are from other countries. There are 109 uncapped players and 56 capped players in total. The remaining 17.65 crores of Indian rupees are available to the five teams for player acquisition.
