Kia Sonet-Tejas V News

The Kia Sonet is getting its first official facelift since its launch, and it should help boost sales. It has redesigned three-tier LED headlamps up front with black chrome garnish, additional positioning lamps, and integrated LED DRLs. The alloy wheels have been revised, and the side profile continues in the same direction towards the back, where LED taillights are connected by a slim bar and the bumper has been significantly modified.

Expectations regarding features are higher than with the previous model, and in terms of safety, ABS, EBD, and six airbags are standard. For extra convenience, the higher variations can take advantage of the set of ADAS capabilities that Hyundai has previously included on several of its models. The same powertrain options -1.0-liter turbocharged petrol, 1.2-liter normally aspirated petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines-are anticipated to remain available mechanically.

The redesigned Kia Sonet is an incoming B2-segment SUV with seating for five. By March 2024, we want to see the new Sonet makeover debut. We expect its price to be between INR 7.78 lakhs and INR 14.48 lakhs when it goes on sale. These are the available engine-transmission combinations for the Sonet facelift.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift

Mahindra XUV300- Tejas V News

The XUV300 from the next generation is set to be launched next year, promising a significant overhaul in terms of exterior, interior, and features. Taking cues from its larger sibling, the XUV700, the front showcases headlamp and DRL designs inspired by it. Moving to the rear, it adopts newly designed LED taillights that feature connected LED treatments.

Updates to the feature list will include ADAS safety technology, a stunning panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging. It will have three engines: a 1.5-liter turbodiesel, a 1.2-liter TGDI turbodiesel, and a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol. The mechanicals will basically stay the same. At 7.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), the base model is currently slightly more expensive than the other models, but we’re hoping that this time around, the prices of the higher versions will be just right.
